High Street Collective is a collaboration of young jazz musicians that emerged from the heart of Christchurch city’s red zone.

Their repertoire consists of ballads, bop, funk, modern and classic jazz standards. When you hear their rich jazz-infused sounds, you can be sure it will swing, bop, chill and glide! H.S.C. first performed together in November last year (2010), at the Christchurch Jazz School’s ‘Beat’ concert. Recently they opened for the Court Theatre’s Scared Scriptless show at the Woolston Working Men’s Club.
