Le Choix hails from both Christchurch and the Parisian countryside. The quartet’s fiery singer, Emma Hughes-Martinet, is eating for two while the rest of the band avoid her gaze and tip-toe on egg shells.
Expect to hear anything from Gretchen Parlato, David Binney and Robert Glasper to the Beatles and Britney Spears, with original compositions from various members of the band and a few traditional french songs thrown into the mix.
